Hi, I’m Emy! I’m a classically trained soprano and emerging choral & musical theatre composer based in Nashville, TN. This fall, I start a Master's of Music in Composition at Belmont. I graduated from Clemson in 2025 with two degrees in Performing Arts (Vocal Performance) and English, and I recently graduated from Vanderbilt in May of 2026 with an M.S. in Marketing. I am extremely passionate about storytelling. Whether I’m singing or composing, I do everything I can to make the story leap from the texture and dance through the colors of the music.
 

I have performed a diverse repertoire spanning opera, art song, choral, musical theatre and contemporary classical works, and I believe that my experience as a composer further enriches my interpretative depth and allows me to connect with audiences on multiple levels. I also had the privilege of running the supertitles for the Nashville Opera’s 25-26 season, which gave me fantastic hands-on experience working behind the scenes with incredible opera professionals. As I begin the next chapter of my professional journey, I am excited to explore new creative collaborations and continue growing as both a performer and composer.
